Global warming technically speaks of the changing climate around us. It is caused by the greenhouse effect and that causes the world to warm up. Basically, the heat gets trapped by the carbon dioxide gases and only some heat gets reflected to space. The increase in cars which are powered by fuel also adds more carbon dioxide around the atmosphere, making the weather even hotter eventually.
The ozone layer is also depleting due to the increase in carbon dioxide. If the ozone is completely depleted, we could be facing extreme heat and ultraviolet rays from the sun, which from the radiation from the sunlight could kill us.
The increase in temperature around the globe will also melt the polar caps. Hence, water level in the seas would rise. This could cause flash floods and kill millions, especially those living in coastal areas.
Another factor contributing to global warming is the action of cutting down trees. Trees as we know, helps balance the percentage of carbon dioxide and oxygen in the atmosphere. With lesser trees, the efficiency of the trees balancing the percentage would be deeply affected.
We can help to save our world by re-using, re-cycling and reduce the need for materials. With everyones' help, we can help do our part in saving our world.
